Say what??

I'm in shock.

Cayden had his dentist appointment today.  We've tried having our dentist to see him but he REFUSED! So I thought we'd try a Pediatric Dentist.  To say I was nervous would be a total understatement. My stomach had butterflies - to the max!

The waiting room was so cool.  There was a big tree and inside the tree was like a play kitchen and a TV with I think a play station hooked up to it.  Cayden loved it and didn't want to leave.  I had to drag him out. Great start right? Yeah.

We went back to get "pictures of his teeth".  I was like oh great here it comes.  But he sat there and let the assistant put the lead vest on him. and he bit down on all the things.  Gagged a bit but he did it. I was SO proud of him. I couldn't keep the goofy smile off my face.

Then we went to the seat. They had Tangled playing on the TV in the CEILING. Is it weird that I find that so cool?? they even had these wireless earphones so he can hear it.  Then the assistant flossed (who knew we needed to do that - ha!) and polished his teeth. I'm shocked he let her do that. He gagged and kind of threw up when she put the fluoride foam on his teeth. He was a little weirded out by the sucker thing.

And then the Dentist came over. Yep, he has a cavity in between his front two top teeth. He's going to need it fixed since he'll have his front teeth for a while.

oh and Cayden has VERY crowded teeth. I saw his adult teeth in the x-ray and MAN they are going to be messed up.  They suggested we will be doing early treatment for them. yay...... haha but I want my kids to have straight teeth.

Well now I'm off to floss his teeth. Ha! I will do it tomorrow since they got it pretty good today. :)

First Night

Last night was my first night at my new schedule.

The new schedule is 9 pm to 3 am. I got to put Creighton to bed. I also was able to play some Wii with Cayden and Adam before I left. I think I'm going to like this schedule. I don't feel rushed to get ready for work RIGHT after dinner.

On my old schedule, 7 pm to 1 am, I would fall asleep almost every 5 minutes for the first 2 to 3 hours - sometimes the whole time I have a hard time. Seriously I couldn't stay awake for the life of me! Last night, I was awake the WHOLE time. I didn't even feel tired! It was weird considering I worked 2 hours later!

BUT I don't understand why they would need me to work from 9 pm to 3 am. We hardly had mail the whole night. Granted it was because it was Sundays.  But I have heard that Sundays were always busy and always overtime. I was dreading it. Turns out - no need to fear.

This morning Adam had to work at 4 am which means he had to leave by 3:30 at the latest. I got home at 3:20 - hitting every green light possible.  It was weird to just kiss him good bye and crawl in an empty bed. But I did thoroughly enjoy the whole bed to myself.

I guess tonight will be the real test. Hoping we all get naps. Trying stretch it out til Adam gets home when he gets off at 12:30. We'll be watching Cars while playing cars.

Decisions.

I've decided....

- to stay at my job even though it might be rough working til 3 am. I'm going to work my hardest and hopefully pay as much debt down as possible.

- that I wish I could share something EXCITINGGGGGG!!! But!!! I can't :) no guesses.. and no I'm not preggers! :) (I just wish I was haha)

- that I can no longer be a negative person. It is SO draining!! I've been a trash talker about people at work and to be honest - I don't know them.  I know I'm a horrible person. But I'm determined to change my thinking about everything. I want to be a person that people love to be around.  I've also noticed that when I am trying to come up with something to say - its something negative or saying I'm tired or something. Its kind of embarrassing to confess how negative I have been but I'm changing :)

- to be a happy person.

- to not let things that are out of my control frustrate me.

- to be a happier mom and wife. I love those days where I'm happy and things always go smoothly! So I need  to just be happy.. JUST BE HAPPY! haha :)

-that I've lost my train of thought. :)
