couponing

man alive. Where I shop I am never stuck behind people who use tons of coupons. So I have never been annoyed (and i find people who find couponers annoying irritiating. Get over it.. They're saving money. its a good thing to save money!)

and I want to start saving money.  so I was looking at some couponing sites (and I've seen that show "Extreme Couponing" on TLC) and people are crazy! I don't want to invest TONS of time into it and I don't want to go from store to store to store to save on one particular item.  I will continue to only shop at Harmon's and Target. No way will I ever go back to the devil's place Wal-mart to save on money. even if we both lose our jobs. Nothing will ever make us go back to that nasty, dirty place.

Back to coupons. I found a site and we buy most of the things on the list. So I'll be checking the website and printing coupons for the next paycheck.  And maybe I'll get over myself and use them. I'm always embarrassed to use them for some reason.  But they're there.. Why not use them? So I'm going to.  Good thing I have an "in" with Harmon's - my SIL works there. So I can ask her if certain coupons are allowed and what not.  Sweet!

* Last night was my first night back and I was called to work 8 hours. Which means instead of working til 1 like I normally would, I had to work til 3:30! How irritating. Especially when you walk into work and see that everyone is called to 8 hrs and it NEVER gets called off.  The numbers even went super low.  Oh well.

* We went to Cayden's speech screening today with the Jordan School District. It turned out to be pointless.  They hadn't read that Cayden had IEP's (speech goals) with the Granite School District.  So one minute into the screening they read what I wrote on this packet that he had IEPs.  So we stopped the screening and they told me that Cayden has an already "in" if he has current IEPs. Sweet!  I don't think he needs speech for too much longer. He's getting SO much smarter day after day.  The minute he was getting "screened" he knew so many things.  Like the picture of the cage.. What 3 yr old knows that? haha.  They were impressed.  But in his current IEPs, they were worried about sounds he has to stay with his tongue and lips like "st", "s", "th", "ph", "f" and the sound that goes with "gone" - he says it like "dawn".

* Creighton is walking like CRAZY.  I love it.  He's still super woobly but he gets right back up! :) He also loves wrestling with Cayden. It is so hilarious! Another thing is hilarious is Creighton will take his blankie (which is another story) and put it over his head. Then he'll attempt to walk! He never makes it far. but its still adorable :)

* Adam has some exciting stuff that MAY be happening soon!  When its more okay to talk about it, I will share :)  Other than that, Adam is just awesome being a husband, handy man and chef!  He's amazing at cooking and I love everything he cooks! :)

 Cool story about the balloon animals. There was an older lady sitting outside the food court area of the mall.  She was blind and offering to do free balloon animals!  It was SO cool to see her create a balloon dog by feel and touch.  So crazy!  She had some major talent for being blind! Awesome.

We ended up throwing away the balloons when they weren't looking cause they kept dropping them and getting in the way.

Cayden sat through the whole move - I was proud. Creighton, on the other hand, did not! Toni gladly stood up with him for the last 15 min or so. :)

The train was cool. I've never been on the Trax trains.. Adam and I might have to do that on a date one time to go downtown! So much easier than trying to find parking downtown.

playing catch up..

I'm a boring momma! Lately I've been stressed so much that I've been naueasous. So we've been inside a lot lately just playing and watching Nick Jr. (unless its the morning then its Disney Junior or The Price is Right)  But on Sunday, after a fabulous experience at church (the boys were superb!) I decided after they woke from naps that it was time to be outside. It was nice enough. So we went on our driveway and drew with sidewalk chalk while we waited for Adam to get home from work. After playing with chalk (and when Adam got home and drew a little), the hose came out and it was playing in the water time.
